Programme: Applied Mechatronics and Electromobility
Degree: Master
Language: English
Faculty: Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology
About the programme: Programme graduates are able to design, develop and apply mechatronic systems using the latest knowledge in the field of natural sciences, mechanics, electronics and information, communication and control technologies. The curriculum of the programme is focused on modern methods of mathematics, physics, modelling and simulation, mechanics, electronics, sensor systems, communications and information technologies, automatic control and mechatronic systems design in two study branches: Automotive Mechatronics and Applied
Mechatronics; Automation.
Tuition fee: 5,500 €/academic year
Programme: Electronics and Photonics
Degree: Master
Language: English
Faculty: Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology
About the programme: Programme graduates have a good theoretical knowledge of and practical
experience in electronic devices, circuits and systems for generating, processing, communicating
and storing of information, as well as control signals in various applications. They are able to
design, analyse, verify and maintain various analogue and/or digital electronics systems based
on advanced micro- and nanoelectronics, photonics technologies (Key Enabling Technologies) and
complex SW/HW tools. Attention is paid to the development and integration of optoelectronics,
photonics and sensorics with methods of digital signal processing. Programme graduates
are familiar with designing a broad spectrum of circuits and systems for radio-communication
technique, multimedia technique, medical and health care, as well as industrial control. The
programme provides graduates with skills in team work, designing and evaluating experiments,
as well as with skills necessary for presentation and communication of obtained results.

Programme: Nuclear and Physical Engineering
Degree: Master
Language: English
Faculty: Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology
About the programme: Programme graduates are familiar with physical processes and methods
used in analysis and modification of materials, studying of mechanical, thermal, electrical,
magnetic and optical properties of matter. They acquire a deep knowledge of physical processes
and phenomena in different kinds of materials, including diagnostic methods and their
application potential in life sciences. Second line of this programme is oriented towards nuclear
power engineering. Safe design, operation and decommissioning of nuclear facilities can be
studied in details. Modern IT-based methods and approaches are included. All this knowledge is
treated in an up‑to‑date economical, legislative, ethical and social environment.
Tuition fee: 5,500 €/academic year
Programme: Telecommunications
Degree: Master
Language: English
Faculty: Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology
About the programme: Based on specialised and professional knowledge of the field
of telecommunication network planning, LTE mobile networks, WDM optical transport
network and systems, IP/MPLS networks, digital signal processing, software development
in telecommunications, the programme offers integrated academic education in engineering
profession concerned with telecommunication technology in all its aspects. Programme
graduates gain a deep knowledge of a selected specialisation of telecommunication systems,
networks and services security, image and speech signal processing, advanced image and video
processing methods and smart terminal applications, which enables them to supervise teams of
employees in the respective field, independently supervise large projects, take responsibility for
complex solutions and perform research with a high level of creativity and independence. They
are able to find systematic problem solutions, because the nature of the programme lies in the
systematic and cross-disciplinary approach.
