Programme: Mechanical Engineering Technologies
Degree: Master
Language: English
Faculty: Faculty of Mechanical Engineering
About the programme: Programme graduates possess theoretical and experimental knowledge, practical experience concerning technological processes related to casting, moulding, welding, machining and assembly, thermal treatment, physical metallurgy and limit states of construction materials. They gain understanding in the subject of design of production processes and systems, and design of technological procedures. They learn how to secure metrological necessities for machine production and how to manage quality control of products. They learn the basics of engineering and functional replaceability of production machines and devices. Programme graduates gain the knowledge concerning mechanisation and automation of production systems. All these tasks are carried out using the CA‑X technologies, mathematical modelling methods and simulation methods. Programme graduates are prepared to work in organisations and plants in the field of mechanical engineering, in teams of main technologists, in design and engineering of machines and tools, in management, marketing and control, technological development and research, in preparation of production, etc.
