Pan-European University in Bratislava
The Pan-European University is a private institution of higher education established in 2004 in the capital of Slovakia, Bratislava. The University offers all three levels of higher education (bachelor, master and doctoral level)
at its 5 faculties. The European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) is fully applied to all courses offered. International co-operation with international partner universities is one of the main goals of the University; it follows international trends in its study programmes by emphasising its international orientation. Thus, from the very beginning, not only a considerable number of international teachers were included in the staff of the University, but also its students were given the opportunity to take part in study programmes at partner universities abroad. The
University, therefore, welcomes students from universities outside the Slovak Republic on the basis of an exchange scheme.
Using its international partnerships, the University is active in initiatives of international academic co-operation with universities in the European Union, the former Soviet Union, the Balkan region, Southeast and East Asia, and Latin America. International students who intend to complete the whole study programme at the Pan-European University have the same rights and obligations as Slovak students.
